LUNG FU SHAN

Established on December 18, 1998 is a country park located in Cenral and Western District of Hong Kong. It covers the densely vegetated slopes of Lung Fu Shan including the disused Pinewood Battery Garden and picnic area, providing the scenic backdrop to the residential and commercial district of Hong Kong Island. in proximity to the Hong Kong residential areas in Mid Levels and Western District, Lung Fu Shan area is intensively used by the public, especially by morning walkers and picnickers. 

Lung Fu Shan Fitness Trail is a 2750m long trail on the peak. Signs provide information about safe hiking on the trail. The trail starts at Pinewood Garden, routing towards Pinewood Battery, a few barbecue sites, a number of shelters, a flight of steps and a section of steep road before arriving at the junction of Harlech Road and Hatton Road. It would take atleast 1-1.5hour to complete the trail.

• PEAK TRAM (Adjacent to Hong Kong Park, Admiralty)
• BUS 15 (At Central Exchange Square Bus Terminus)
• GREEN MINI BUS (Central Exchange Square Bus Terminus)
• TAXI (Available anytime...anywhere)

LOGISTICS:

• 4L - 8L Pack
• 500ml Water
• Regular Rubber Shoes will do just fine
• Extra Shirt
• Hiking Shorts
• Mosquito Repellent

PEAK TOWER
This is a very significant starting point as provides great scenery of Hong Kong.

STARTING POINT
The road in the middle with the white arrow pointing up is your route.

Read the signs and know your destinations. In here, the first route is "Victoria Peak Garden".



HIGHLIGHTS OF VICTORIA PEAK GARDEN

After a great walk along Victoria Peak Garden, simply walk uphill along the main road until you reach Hatton Road.

This area is the top section of the trail, it provides parking spaces with parking meters ofcourse and a great viewing point.
